Western Middle School for the Arts Maestros Arts Boosters are an all-volunteer 501c(3) nonprofit supporting Louisville's Western Middle School for the Arts magnet programs. The Maestros provide vital financial and volunteer support to WMSA students' arts experience through fundraising, events and community support. 
 

During the 2023-24 school year, the Maestros: 

• Sponsored weekly guest instructors for Band and Orchestra

• Purchased equipment for Piano, including a piano dolly, a speaker and headphones

• Restocked Visual Art supplies, purchased shelves and funded a program field trip

• Purchases supplies for Theatre

• Sponsored accompanists for Choir performances 

• Sponsored guest choreographer for Dance

• Financed SpongeBob the Musical and the spring play Puffs (licensing, lighting, sound, costumes, props, ticketing, marketing, production support, and organizing volunteers for front of house)

• Sponsored a school-wide Variety Show to showcase the many talents of our students

• Purchased necessary audio equipment for auditorium
